About

Ashley currently serves as an Academic Counselor/Success Coach in the African American Academic Network (AAAN).  Her professional experience includes case management, reading specialist, and substitute teaching.  She has also worked in sales and as a dance instructor.  Ashley has a passion for children, youth and making a difference in the lives of others.  Her formal education includes a B.S. in Communications, University of Illinois, Urbana; a Paralegal Certificate, Roosevelt University; and a M.S.W. from Dominican University.  Her immediate goal is to help students remain on track and graduate from UIC.
