My name is Debora Foster, and I am a junior here at the university studying Neuroscience on a pre-med track. My career goal is to become a pediatric psychiatrist, because I believe mental health awareness and treatment is extremely important in a child’s development. I am a receptionist at the African American Academic Network. Here at AAAN, students find a home away from home and a safe space. When I come into work, I am not just ‘Debora the Receptionist’, but I feel a sense of family and belonging.
