Hello everyone! My name is Rebecca Owusu and I’m a Senior at UIC. I will have a double major in Finance and Information Decision Sciences and a double minor in Economics and International Business in May 2024. Fun fact: I am the eldest of three and I used to live in Ghana when I was younger. When I received the Riversville Scholarship, I was overjoyed. Being able to be a Riversville Scholar and a part of AAAN has helped me grow, not only academically, but it also confirmed that I am capable of being and succeeding in rooms that I used to feel out of place in.
